Perry Thompson officially signs with the Auburn Tigers
Auburn’s second-highest-rated recruit has officially signed with the program.
The second-ranked talent out of Auburn has formally committed to the team.
According to his social media, Perry Thompson, a five-star wide receiver in the 2024 class, has committed to Auburn.
According to the 247Sports composite rankings, Phillips is the No. 7 wide receiver, the No. 26 prospect in the country, and the No. 5 player in the state of Alabama.

Role: Wide Receiver
Hometown: Foley High School (Ala.)
Recruitment: In addition to the switch from Alabama to Auburn, Thompson has received offers from a wide range of universities, including Troy, Tennessee, and Miami.
Thompson made his selection early, thus it’s likely that he did not receive as many offers as he would have if, like many other recruits, he had made his original choice in the summer before his senior year.
Thompson is ranked #14 by 247 Sports, #47 by On3, #59 by Rivals, and #40 by ESPN as of the time this article was written.
