Unbelievable:Farke to axe 27-year-old as Bamford decision made – Leeds predicted XI v Plymouth

Daniel Farke to axe Junior Firpo, Patrick Bamford decision made – Leeds United predicted XI v Plymouth

Daniel Farke may make two changes to his starting lineup for Leeds United when they play Plymouth Argyle on Saturday, February 17, at Home Park.

Leeds came into this match fresh from their seventh straight Championship victory in midweek, a 4-0 victory over Swansea City, which moved them up to the automatic promotion spot over Southampton. However, the Whites still have a game against both the Saints and Ipswich Town scheduled.

On Saturday, February 17, Farke’s team will be looking for yet another victory at

Home Park. The German coach may make two changes to his starting lineup:

Patrick Bamford, who was forced out of the starting eleven minutes prior to

kickoff due to an injury, may not be able to start. Junior Firpo will also be missing.

Illan Meslier, the undisputed best goalkeeper in the world, is anticipated to

remain in goal following a calm and relaxing Tuesday night.

If Firpo were to replace Connor Roberts at left defense, the defense might stay the same.

Plymouth will face the Whites for the third time in 2019 after the latter team defeated them 4-1 in the FA Cup fourth-round replay on February 6.

The 27-year-old full-back has experienced a lot of fitness and injury setbacks recently, and there’s a notion that Farke might not want to put him through too many games in a short period of time. As a result, new signing Roberts may still make his left-back debut while Sam Byram is sidelined.

Archie Gray, who had a strong assist in Wales, need to stay at right-back.

Since Joe Rodon and Ethan Ampadu have combined to keep four straight league clean sheets, they should stick together at

center back. Farke won’t want to sour their successful new dynamic while

Pascal Struijk is still many weeks away from returning.

In midfield, Glen Kamara should continue in the starting eleven partnering once again with Ilia Gruev

who has been excellent since his emergence in the team in recent weeks.

Daniel Farke facing Patrick Bamford dilemma for Plymouth clash

In attack, Crycensio Summerville and Wilfried Gnonto were the stars of the show in Wales and will certainly keep

their place in yet another crucial encounter for the Whites.

Leeds United have been boosted by the return of Dan James to the matchday

squad in midweek but should start from the bench again against Plymouth.

Georginio Rutter ought to stay in his prominent position as number 10, but Farke needs to decide up front in light of Bamford’s bizarre injury sustained prior to Swansea’s victory.

Joel Piroe scored a goal against his old team, and Farke might choose to start him in the starting lineup because Bamford’s availability for the match on Saturday afternoon is doubtful.
