Unbelievable:Leeds United To Hand Out “Big” Contract On One Condition
|Leeds United To Hand Out “Big” Contract On One Condition
Reports state that Daniel Farke, the head coach of Leeds United, has been given an
additional incentive to lead the Yorkshire
club back to the Premier League at the conclusion of the current season.
Since the beginning of the year, the
Whites have dominated all contests and are currently riding high in England’s
second tier. Additionally, Leeds won the Championship for the sixth time in a row
on Tuesday night with a resounding 4-0 victory over Swansea City.
Farke has led his team into the automatic
promotion spots with the second-best defensive and third-best attacking
records in the league, following a difficult start to the season. Next Friday
is a massive top-of-the-table matchup with Leicester City.
The work Farke has done this season has greatly impressed the Leeds United
board. Depending on if the Yorkshire team is promoted back to the top
division, the management is preparing a sizable contract extension for the
German at the end of the current campaign, according to Football Insider.
The German coach, who has already won
promotion to the Premier League twice with Norwich City in 2019 and 2021, is
reportedly in line for a “huge” wage increase should he secure the feat for the
third time in his coaching career, according to the site.
After accepting the esteemed position last summer, Farke was given a four-year contract at Elland Road; yet, neither his
current salary nor his earnings have
been made public. The amount of additional money the former Borussia
Monchengladbach manager would get if he guided the Whites back to the
promised land was made public by Football Insider.

If this report is to be believed, Leeds United handing Farke a new bumper
contract would be the club’s way of thanking
the manager for taking the
team from a difficult position and returning to the top tier.
However, it’s important that the board wait until a potential promotion actually happens, otherwise the club will be stuck
paying a Premier League wage to a Championship manager.
