Unbelievable:Enzo Maresca shares why he thinks his Leicester City side are better than Leeds United

‘The difference’… Enzo Maresca shares whether he thinks his Leicester City side are better than Leeds United

Enzo Maresca has given his assessment of how much of a difference he believes exists between his Leicester City team and teams like Leeds United.

With an astounding 78 points after 32 games, Leicester is currently on course to surpass the Championship points record of 106 established by Reading in the 2005–06 season.

Despite the fact that the Whites, Southampton, and Ipswich Town are all averaging more than two points per game, the Foxes lead Leeds by 12 points in second place. This quality has never been seen at this level previously.

Naturally, Leeds suffered from such a tumultuous summer transfer window,

which affected their start to the season, but Leicester has been incredibly consistent.

Maresca said that there hasn’t been much of a difference between the three

relegated teams during the past 25 games in an interview with the Daily Telegraph.

Maresca says gap not much between Leicester and Leeds

“All the statistics are good during the season, but if you reach the end goal, they can become great,” he stated. Regretfully, we still require some victories. We have won 26 of the 32 games, and our trajectory and course are favorable. That demonstrates the players’ mindset.

“Leeds and Southampton are doing incredibly well.” Ipswich will undoubtedly fight to the very end. We’re still there. There hasn’t been much of a difference between Southampton, Leeds, and ourselves during the past 25 games.

In the summer, Leicester was far more adept at getting their ducks in order than Leeds and Southampton. James Maddison and Harvey Barnes, two important players, were promptly traded, and new players were brought in.

But after Southampton and Leeds were able to assemble stable teams, all three teams—along with Ipswich—started playing fantastic football. Only on Tuesday did the Saints’ 22-game winning streak come to an end.

Despite all of the Leicester manager’s accolades, Maresca has already stated

that he believes Leeds to be the strongest counter-attacking club in the division

and that they will definitely be promoted.

Leeds and the other two teams will be quite unhappy, considering the

exceptional caliber of play, if they are not promoted in May.
