Braves starter is sad to be victim of serious injuries

miss most of the 2021 season. This significant injury was followed by a fractured rib, fractured pinkie finger, and a broken right wrist.

Sale has been candid this offseason, acknowledging the doubts surrounding his contributions to the Braves. While recognized as one of the most challenging pitchers to face when

healthy, many question his durability due to his injury history. Despite this skepticism, Sale remains confident in his ability to make meaningful contributions on the mound.

The fact that Chris Sale believes he’s in his best physical condition since 2018 should fill Atlanta Braves fans with

excitement. In 2018, Sale boasted an impressive record of 12-4 with a 2.11 ERA, earned a spot in the All-Star Game, and finished fourth in the American League Cy Young Award voting.

If Sale can come close to replicating that performance in a starting rotation that includes Max Fried, Spencer Strider, and Charlie Morton, the Atlanta Braves will be well-positioned to contend for another World Series title.

While it’s unrealistic to expect Sale to match his performance from a decade ago, the prospect of him being healthy
