According to Training Ground Guru, Martin Diggle will leave Liverpool and become the new Leeds United Academy Director at Elland Road.

On Thursday, February 22, the website reported that he will replace Adam Underwood behind the scenes.

Underwood, who had served as the Academy Manager since 2009, was elevated to the role of Head of Football Operations in July 2023.

His previous nine-year tenure at the Football Association, notably as Head of Professional Game Coach Development, highlights his proficiency in administering professional game certifications and overseeing technical personnel. 

With coaching stints at renowned clubs such as Oldham Athletic and Bolton Wanderers, Diggle’s firsthand

involvement enriches his comprehension of player development routes and the complexities of high-level youth coaching.

His proven track record of achievements and proficiency in coaching development represent invaluable resources that are
