Done deal: Sean McVay Reveals why Rams re-sign former Super Bowl champion.

Rams re-sign former Super Bowl champion.

The Los Angeles Rams have opted to retain veteran wide receiver Demarcus Robinson for at least another season.

According to NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport, the team has reached an agreement to re-sign Robinson on a one-year contract worth $5 million.

While much of the spotlight during the 2023 season was on Puka Nacua in the Rams’ wide receiver corps, Robinson’s

contributions were also noteworthy following his signing with the team in June of that year.

Despite starting in only four games, the 29-year-old wide receiver ranked third in receiving touchdowns with four, trailing Nacua and Cooper Kupp, and fourth in receiving yards with 371.

Robinson’s addition brought valuable experience to a Rams roster that leaned

heavily on its young talent. Notably, he boasts a playoff appearance in all eight years of his professional career.

Having spent his first six seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs, including winning a Super Bowl ring in 2019, Robinson

continued his postseason streak with the Baltimore Ravens in 2022 before joining the Rams last season.

While expectations may not be for Robinson to achieve a 1,000-yard

campaign next season, he is poised to provide dependable depth for the Rams as they aim for another playoff push in 2024.
