Leeds has undeniably displayed scintillating form in the second tier since the beginning of the year, successfully

advancing beyond Peterborough United and Plymouth Argyle to reach this stage of the prestigious football competition.

Although facing Chelsea represents a considerable escalation in class compared to their league adversaries, former Arsenal and England striker Alan

Smith is of the opinion that Daniel Farke’s team will arrive at Stamford Bridge brimming with confidence, posing a potential surprise for their opponents.

“I believe this could be a tricky fixture for Chelsea,” Smith remarked. While

many assume that Chelsea might have turned a corner, this dynamic Leeds team will enter Stamford Bridge with determination.”

As noted earlier, Leeds’ form since their 3-0 victory over Birmingham City at Elland Road on New Year’s Day has been exceptional. None of their subsequent

opponents have been able to figure out how to halt the momentum of what has been the most dominant force in the second tier recently.

What will further bolster their confidence ahead of this FA Cup clash is

the resilience displayed by the German team to remain competitive against league leaders Leicester City on Friday

night. They completed a thrilling late comeback, with Connor Roberts, Archie Gray, and former Chelsea player Patrick Bamford scoring three goals in just 14

minutes, narrowing the gap on Enzo Maresca’s side to only six points with 14 games remaining.

The dynamic attacking options of Crysencio Summerville, Wilfried Gnonto, Dan James, Georginio Rutter, and Joel

Piroe, along with Bamford, will undoubtedly pose a significant challenge for Pochettino’s team, regardless of the starting lineup.
