Ohio state face a though threat in recruiting four -star wide receiver

Texas football head coach Steve Sarkisian and the Longhorns are navigating through a pivotal offseason

that holds significant implications for the program’s trajectory. Despite experiencing a heartbreaking loss

against the Washington Huskies in the College Football Playoff semifinal in New Orleans, Sarkisian remains optimistic

about the program’s potential, buoyed by their recent success which marks one of the program’s strongest periods in years.

Certainly, a significant aspect of a college football coach’s role entails maintaining

a strong presence on the recruiting front, and it appears that Steve Sarkisian is

actively engaged in this aspect, despite facing competition from other esteemed programs.

According to a report by Hayes Fawcett of On3 Sports on X (formerly known as Twitter), highly coveted four-star wide receiver Taz Williams Jr. has narrowed

down his list of potential schools to 10. Hailing from Red Oak, TX, the 6’0, 185-pound receiver is regarded as one of the

top 10 wide receivers in Texas, as per On3 rankings. With an impressive total of 53 offers, the question now arises: where will he ultimately choose to go?

In addition to Texas football, Taz Williams Jr.’s list of top ten schools

features notable programs such as Alabama, Ohio State, Michigan, Baylor, and several others. As a member of the

Class of 2025 and being an in-state talent, it’s understandable why Steve Sarkisian and the Longhorns would be keen on securing his commitment.

The receiver room at Texas is expected to be a focal point in the upcoming months, especially with the departure of AD Mitchell, the team’s standout wide receiver, to the NFL Draft.
