Brighton and Hove Albion forward Deniz Undav appears set to secure a permanent transfer to Stuttgart in the upcoming summer.
Undav, aged 27, was permitted to depart Brighton on loan at the commencement of this season and has made a strong
impression in the Bundesliga, tallying 15 goals and providing five assists in 23 appearances.
The German club, currently positioned third in the Bundesliga, holds an option to purchase Undav at the conclusion of
his loan spell, and they are reportedly eager to finalize a deal for approximately £15 million, as per sportwitness.co.uk.
Although Undav is under contract with Brighton until 2026, he expressed his desire last month to continue with
Stuttgart. Nevertheless, reports indicate that negotiations regarding personal terms with Stuttgart are still ongoing.
Undav joined Brighton in 2022 for a fee of approximately £7 million following a successful stint in Belgium with Union
SG. During the previous season, the German striker netted eight goals in 30 appearances for Brighton.
Brighton boasts significant competition for attacking positions, with Danny
Welbeck, Evan Ferguson, Julio Enciso, Joao Pedro, and Barcelona loanee Ansu Fati all capable of leading the frontline.
However, Fati is expected to depart Brighton this summer and return to Barcelona once his loan agreement expires.
