O’Sullivan defeats Higgins to advance to the World Masters of Snooker semifinals.

In the World Masters of Snooker, Ronnie O’Sullivan delivered a remarkable performance, recording three century breaks in a 4-0 victory over John Higgins. Mark Allen staged a comeback from being 3-1 down to defeat Mark Selby 4-3, while Luca Brecel secured a 4-1 win over Ali Carter. Judd Trump also mounted a comeback, overcoming a 2-0 deficit to edge out Shaun Murphy 4-3. In the upcoming matches, Brecel will face Allen, while O’Sullivan will take on Trump.

 

O’Sullivan’s victory was highlighted by his extraordinary display, as he effortlessly produced three consecutive century breaks, leaving Higgins unable to pocket a single ball throughout the match. O’Sullivan started strong with a magnificent break of 135 in the opening frame, followed swiftly by another century break of 129. Despite a longer third frame, O’Sullivan sealed the win with yet another century break.
