The Falcons have re-signed inside linebacker Nate Landman

The Atlanta Falcons announced on Wednesday that they have re-signed inside linebacker Nate Landman.

Originally signed to a one-year contract in 2023, Landman is now committed to the Falcons for the 2024 season. Undrafted out of Colorado, Landman

joined the Falcons in 2022 and initially saw limited playing time as a rookie, primarily contributing on special teams. However, in 2023, Landman was thrust

into a starting role alongside Kaden Elliss due to Troy Andersen’s placement on injured reserve after the Falcons’ Week 3 loss to the Detroit Lions. Andersen’s

absence opened up opportunities for Landman, who capitalized on his increased playing time. He started 14 out of 16 games, registering 110 tackles,

three pass breakups, three forced fumbles, two sacks, and an interception. Despite Andersen being under contract through the 2025 season as a second-

round draft pick in 2022, and Elliss signed through the same period after being acquired as a free agent from the New Orleans Saints in 2023.
