Unbelievable:Daniel Farke is so crazy about 24 years -old star player as he says player is

“Crazy”: Daniel Farke says 24-year-old who hasn’t played in two months is so important

Leeds United are facing their final match of a hectic schedule, with four games in nine days, at Hillsborough. Manager Farke has had to rotate his squad to maintain freshness. He confirmed that the squad for the upcoming match will remain unchanged, indicating that Jaidon Anthony is likely to be unavailable again due to personal reasons.

However, there’s positive news regarding defender Pascal Struijk, as Farke mentioned that he is still on track to return after the international break for the remaining fixtures. In his pre-match press conference, Farke expressed his amazement at how well Leeds coped in Struijk’s absence and emphasized his importance to the club’s future.

Farke stated, “It feels surreal that we haven’t discussed him in the last two months, thankfully because our defense has been excellent. He’s a cornerstone for our future.” He also acknowledged that it will take time for Struijk to regain his peak form once back in team training, but he expects him to return shortly after the international break and hopes for his swift return to top condition.

Struijk’s return to the team will significantly bolster Leeds United, as his leadership, prowess in set-pieces, and quality on the ball have been sorely missed despite the team managing well in his absence.

It’s remarkable to consider that Struijk has not featured since the Boxing Day defeat against Preston North End, a match where he almost single-handedly helped Leeds secure a point with 10 men.

While Ilia Gruev has performed admirably in midfield during Struijk’s absence, the prospect of Ethan Ampadu shifting back to midfield with Struijk returning to central defense will be a significant positive for the team.
