Cowboys star cryptic Instagram message following ex-teammate’s criticism.

Jake Ferguson’s Instagram Story post raised eyebrows with its timing.

The Dallas Cowboys tight end shared a photo of a message displayed in the team’s practice facility, stating: “It is a privilege, not a right, to play, coach, and work for the Dallas Cowboys.”

This post from Ferguson coincided with recent comments made by his former teammate, Dalton Schultz, who now plays for the Houston Texans. Schultz

had criticized the culture within the Cowboys organization, contrasting it with what he perceives as a better environment in Houston.

During an appearance on “The Pat McAfee Show” on Wednesday, Dalton

Schultz shared his perspective on the differences between the Dallas Cowboys and the Houston Texans’ practice environments.

Schultz highlighted the football-centric focus of the Texans, contrasting it with what he described as a more chaotic

atmosphere within the Cowboys organization. He recounted experiences of distractions at the Cowboys’ practice facility, where people would try to grab

players’ attention during training sessions. Schultz emphasized that while this might be the culture preferred by

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones, it can be surprising for those accustomed to a more focused environment like the one he found in Houston.

Ferguson, who is in a relationship with TCU basketball standout and social media personality Haley Cavinder and is

the grandson of iconic Wisconsin football coach and athletic director Barry Alvarez, had a standout season in his sophomore year with the Cowboys. He

amassed impressive statistics, including 71 receptions, 761 receiving yards, and five touchdowns during the regular season.
