New York Jets have Re-sign Vital Specialist 

On Monday morning, it was officially announced that the New York Jets have secured a two-year, $8.4 million deal to re-sign former all-pro kicker Greg Zuerlein.

Zuerlein is entering this contract after an impressive season, marking one of the

best performances in his career and notably excelling with the New York Jets. In the 2023 season, he successfully made 35 out of 38 field goals and 15 out of 16

extra points, achieving a notable 92.1% success rate, which stands as the third-highest in his career. Notably, Zuerlein also made five field goals from distances

exceeding 50 yards. Additionally, he holds the franchise record for the New York Jets with the longest field goal, an impressive 60 yards.

Rumors had circulated a few weeks ago that Aaron Rodgers had advocated for the Jets to re-sign their specialists. With Zuerlein now secured, there is an

expectation that Thomas Morestead will also be returning to the New York Jets for the upcoming season.
