De Zerbi say something Harsh and blames Italian journalist ahead of Roma clash 

Roberto De Zerbi criticized Italian journalists ahead of the Europa League Round of 16 second leg against Roma,

“I’ve always avoided compromises. I’ve never initiated them, nor have I yielded to compromises imposed by others. Some have portrayed my unwillingness to

compromise as divisive, contrasting the ‘Giochisti’ (those focused on attractive football) with the ‘Risultatisti’ (those prioritizing winning).

“I’ve consistently worked with dedication and integrity. Unfortunately, not all of you [journalists] possess competence and integrity, and when encountering such

individuals, I haven’t sought compromise. You’re free to write whatever you wish. However, it pains me as my family resides in Italy, and I find it

unjust to be labeled as divisive. It’s not the fans but rather your portrayal that creates division. How you convey information and present truths determines divisiveness. While I’ve

always treated everyone with respect, some judgments lack fairness. The emphasis on division arises when discussing ‘Giochisti’ and ‘Risultatisti.’

“At times, this occurs in a less-than-transparent manner due to unfair actions by certain individuals among you. I hold respect for most in your

profession, except those who lack respect for others. I refrain from engaging with them, granting interviews, or entertaining compromises.”
