for disseminating falsehoods about the 2012 Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting. The late-night host targeted Rodgers, who is reportedly being

considered as a potential running mate for independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr., after CNN disclosed his involvement in spreading conspiracy theories surrounding the

tragic event. Kimmel, who previously had a public dispute with Rodgers in January, highlighted the quarterback’s

reaction to the CNN report before teasing his audience with a promise of a startling narrative about the former Green Bay Packers star.

Kimmel humorously asserted, “What the deep state won’t tell you is that Aaron Rodgers never played football; he’s not a

football player; he faked his entire career.” He continued, alleging that Rodgers didn’t make his NFL debut until last year, just before joining the Jets, as

his supposed body double, who played in all his previous games, reportedly succumbed to COVID-19. Kimmel also referenced Rodgers’ Achilles injury with

the Jets, suggesting that the “real” Rodgers had to feign an injury. According to Kimmel, the number eight symbolizes a person’s spiritual rebirth, referencing a

biblical interpretation. Moreover, Kimmel pointed out the significance of Rodgers choosing to wear the number eight during his time with the Jets.

Ultimately, Kimmel quipped that his fabricated story about Rodgers is more believable than Rodgers’ account of the events surrounding Sandy Hook.
