Official Done deal:The Falcons signed defensive lineman.

The Falcons signed defensive lineman Kentavius Street.

The Falcons announced Monday the signing of defensive lineman Kentavius Street.

Street rejoins the Falcons after spending the latter portion of the previous season in Atlanta. He was acquired via a trade

with the Philadelphia Eagles in October 2023 following Grady Jarrett’s season-ending knee injury. In exchange, the

Falcons received Street and a 2025 seventh-round pick, while the Eagles received a 2024 sixth-round pick from the Falcons.

This signing marks the Falcons’ first defensive acquisition since the start of free agency last Wednesday.

During the 2023 season, Street played in five games for the Falcons, starting all five. He recorded 14 combined tackles (four for loss), one pass deflection, one

fumble recovery, and one sack in those appearances. Before joining Atlanta, Street appeared in eight games for the Eagles, starting one.

Originally drafted by the San Francisco 49ers in the fourth round of the 2018 NFL Draft, Street faced setbacks due to

injuries early in his career. He missed his rookie year due to an ACL tear suffered before the draft and spent much of the

2019 season on injured reserve. Street saw increased playing time in 2020 and 2021 with the 49ers, registering three sacks in his final year with the team. He

then played all 17 games for the New Orleans Saints in 2022, tallying 3.5 sacks, before signing a one-year deal with the Eagles in March 2023.

Returning to the Falcons in 2024, Street is recovering from a pectoral injury sustained in early December, which

ended his 2023 season prematurely and resulted in his placement on injured reserve with four games remaining.
