So sad to say goodbye as Kansas city chiefs key player who helped them win super bowl is leaving.

The Kansas City Chiefs are potentially parting ways with a key player instrumental in their Super Bowl victory.

The Indianapolis Colts are reportedly keen on acquiring defensive standout

L’Jarius Sneed. According to ATOZ SPORTS, a significant trade involving Sneed between the Colts and the Chiefs is

close to completion. The proposed deal may include the Colts’ third-round pick in the 2024 NFL Draft along with another pick in 2025.

Reports indicate that the Colts have been eyeing Sneed throughout the season,

initially hoping to sign him as a free agent until the Chiefs opted to retain him for another year. While Kansas City

ideally aimed for a second-round pick for Sneed in 2024, other teams were hesitant due to the likelihood of his commanding a substantial salary.

Despite the trade talks, Sneed expressed his desire to remain with the Chiefs and

pursue further Super Bowl victories, emphasizing the allure of achieving a legendary third ring. “Two is legendary,

but three? You never get tired of getting rings,” Sneed stated optimistically. “Hopefully, I’m still here and we can go back and repeat.”

The Colts are enthusiastic about adding a premier defensive talent who excelled in the 2023 season. Sneed demonstrated his prowess with two interceptions in the

regular season and displayed exceptional coverage skills, preventing any touchdowns against him. In the playoffs, he contributed significantly with 17

tackles, playing a vital role in the Chiefs’ journey to victory in Super Bowl LVIII, clinching a thrilling 25-22 overtime triumph against the San Francisco 49ers.

Sneed may potentially miss out on pursuing another Super Bowl victory, but Kansas City’s quarterback, Patrick Mahomes, is fully committed to making

history. “It [would be] legendary,” Mahomes remarked. “No one’s ever done it, and we knew it’s legendary to win back-to-back.

“I think eight other teams have done it. We had heard it all week. We had talked to the guys [who had gone back-to-back]

about it, and we felt like we had the best opportunity that we had ever had to go out there and do that. We’ve got to

continue to play our best football. We’ll celebrate these next few weeks, and then we’ll get right back at it.”

NFL teams are scheduled to commence their training camps from late July, continuing through mid-August, with games kicking off in September.

Kansas City has already learned their home opponents for the regular season, including matchups against the Denver

Broncos, Los Angeles Chargers, Las Vegas Raiders, Baltimore Ravens, Cincinnati Bengals, New Orleans Saints, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and Houston Texans.

They will also face off against various away teams such as the Broncos, Chargers, Raiders, Steelers, Browns, Falcons, Panthers, Bills, and the 49ers.
