Daniel Farke confirm Leeds 10-goal talented player’ season now overĀ

As Leeds United intensifies its push for automatic promotion from the

Championship, manager Daniel Farke may feel fortunate regarding injuries so far. However, concerns are quietly

building up at Thorp Arch. With the promotion race heating up, Leeds faces the prospect of missing some key players.

Pascal Struijk and Georginio Rutter are currently sidelined with separate groin injuries, making them the most notable absentees at the moment.

Concerns also arise over the fitness of star player Crysencio Summerville. The prolific winger, who has scored fifteen

goals, picked up a knock during Leeds’ recent victory over Millwall. Manager Daniel Farke acknowledged the situation, stating they have to wait to assess

Summerville’s fitness. However, Farke remains hopeful that it’s only a matter of days before Summerville returns to action.

Accompanying Summerville on the doubtful list for Leeds’ upcoming game is Archie Gray. Initially believed to have suffered an ankle injury, Gray’s recent

appearance for England’s Under 21s during the international break indicates he should be available for Leeds’ next match.

The only enduring injury concern for Leeds’ first team remains Stuart Dallas, who continues his recovery from a broken femur sustained against

Manchester City in 2022. Despite progress, Dallas is still some way off from a complete recovery.

While Leeds faces minimal injury woes among their starting eleven, one of their

promising young players appears set to miss the remainder of the season due to injury.

According to a report by MOT Leeds News, Dr. Rajpal Brar has provided his analysis of Leeds youngster Marley

Wilson’s injury. Speaking to the outlet, Dr. Brar noted that Wilson has sustained a significant back injury that will sideline him for an extended period.

The sports scientist and physical therapy specialist further explained that, given Wilson’s age, the injury is likely a stress fracture in the back, which is relatively common among young footballers. Dr.

Brar suggested that it’s highly improbable for Wilson to return to full training, let alone be available for selection before the end of the season.

Wilson sustained the injury on March 12th, with the Leeds Academy confirming Dr. Brar’s assessment that the player will be unavailable for the foreseeable future.

The young forward has netted ten goals for Leeds Under 18s this season, with seven of them coming in the Under 18 Premier League. Wilson is considered

one of the most promising youth prospects at Leeds, having scored two hat-tricks this season against Derby and Everton’s youth teams.

While this setback comes at a crucial stage in Wilson’s development, given his

success at the youth level thus far, the injury is unlikely to significantly derail his career trajectory.
