The Amazing things at the new Citizens Bank Park of Phillies ahead of New season

Longtime Phillies public address announcer Dan Baker expressed excitement for the upcoming 2024 season at Citizens Bank Park,

emphasizing the opportunity to create more memorable moments at the venue that has witnessed numerous epic events over its twenty-year history. With just three days until Opening Day, the

anticipation is palpable, with Zack Wheeler set to make his first-ever Opening Day start against Spencer Strider of the Atlanta Braves.

To mark the milestone anniversary of Citizens Bank Park, Philadelphia has planned several celebratory events throughout the year. These include ceremonial first pitches and special guest

appearances to honor significant moments in the ballpark’s history. The festivities kick off on April 12, exactly twenty years since the stadium’s

opening, with Randy Wolf, who started the Phillies’ inaugural regular-season game at the Bank, slated to throw the ceremonial first pitch.

In addition to the ceremonial events, five on-field celebrations will take place before select afternoon games throughout the season, including Alumni

Day on August 8. An online auction featuring signed memorabilia from Phillies players from throughout the park’s history will run from 6:30 p.m.

Monday until 6 p.m. on April 7. Among the auction items is a paver from Ashburn Alley signed by Chase Utley.

Fans at Citizens Bank Park will be treated to a new mural above Ashburn Alley in left-center field, crafted by Mantua

Township artist Jose Bustamante. Bustamante’s design was selected through a contest organized by SEI and the Phillies to feature local artists at the

stadium. Emphasizing the importance of inspiring future generations, Bustamante aimed to create a piece that sparks conversation and creativity among viewers.

SEI’s chief marketing officer, Seth Morrison, highlighted the goal of celebrating Philadelphia culture, Phillies

fandom, and SEI’s commitment to fostering brave futures through connectivity. Mural Arts Philadelphia

and SEI reviewed over 20 eligible submissions before selecting Bustamante’s work.

Additionally, the Phillies have upgraded the out-of-town scoreboard in right field

with a new, advanced version designed to showcase in-game stats, out-of-town scores, and more. This high-tech display,

located at field level, aims to enhance the overall fan experience and will complement the existing out-of-town scoreboard.

When it comes to food options, PrimoHoagies, Big Mozz, and the Schwarburger 2.0 are among the new culinary offerings at Citizens Bank Park for the 2024 season. The Phillies and

Aramark Sports + Entertainment have curated an exciting lineup of food items to delight fans attending games at the ballpark.

Moreover, the Schwarburger 2.0 will be available throughout the season at Coca-Cola Corner, situated in left field behind section 142.

Pass and Stow near the Third Base Plaza will introduce a new bratwurst sandwich featuring spicy mustard and beer-braised onions on a Liscio Bakery roll.

Greens & Grains, located behind section 125, is adding a plant-based buffalo chik’n hoagie to its menu at Citizens Bank Park.

PJ Whelihan’s in Ashburn Alley will feature rotating wing flavors throughout the season, with the Flamin’ Pickleback being the inaugural “Flavor of the Month.”

For those with a sweet tooth, a loaded funnel cake fry sundae will be offered at Coca-Cola Corner.

The Gluten-Free Kiosk behind section 122 will introduce a new gluten-free brownie option.

Fans can also indulge in a new spiked frozen cocktail named “Fastball Freeze,” served in a unique baseball-shaped souvenir cup available behind sections

113 and 147. Additionally, non-alcoholic frozen slush puppies will be sold behind section 139.

In terms of merchandise, the New Era Phillies Team Store will offer exclusive clothing, footwear, drinkware, and gear

for fans to enjoy. To mark Citizens Bank Park’s 20th anniversary, New Era will

release a special collection of commemorative trading pins, pennants, magnets, coolers, and more.

The Phanatic of the Month collection will now be available year-round, featuring baseball’s beloved mascot in new poses

and outfits. New Era will also sell player on-field Batting Practice caps featuring the Phanatic.

Fans can anticipate a new low-top sneaker for women and a slipper version of the Phanatic sneaker for both kids and adults.

Bobbleheads enthusiasts will have plenty to look forward to, with a lineup celebrating various Phillies players and moments, including Harper’s 300th

career home run, Michael Lorenzen’s no-hitter with J.T. Realmuto, and the “Splash Brothers” (Brandon Marsh and Bryson
