De Zerbi Comfirms Brighton summer target has already decided and On Loan striker makes decision on Future.

Brighton and Hove Albion forward Deniz Undav is eager to secure a permanent transfer to VfB Stuttgart.

The 27-year-old has impressed while on loan at the Bundesliga side, netting 15 goals this season. His stellar performances earned him a call-up to the

Germany squad for the first time, and he recently made his international debut as a second-half substitute in their 2-0 victory over France.

Undav joined Stuttgart on a season-long loan from Brighton last summer, with an option to buy. Both the German club and

Undav are eager to make the move permanent. “The faster this is possible, the happier I would be, but it’s a slow process,” Undav told Sky Sports Germany

after his international debut. “I can’t decide alone, because there are other parties. You can only hope that it will work out the way you want.”

Brighton signed Undav for approximately £7m in 2022 after his successful stint in Belgium with Union SG. He is under contract with Brighton

until June 2026. While Brighton may consider a transfer this summer, they could also opt to wait and assess their options.

Undav’s value has doubled this season, and his inclusion in the Germany national team could further increase his

demand. If he performs well at Euro 2024 in Germany, his transfer fee could rise significantly.

Despite Undav’s desire for a swift move, Brighton is known for its prudent approach in the transfer market. It’s unlikely that a deal will be finalized before this summer’s tournament. Albion

chairman Tony Bloom is likely to wait and evaluate the situation, with any potential transfer likely to occur after the Euros in July.
