Under-pressure South Sydney coach Jason Demetriou has made further

changes to his squad in a bid to ignite his winless team ahead of their clash against Canterbury on Good Friday.

Recent addition Sean Keppie and utility player Siliva Havili are the latest casualties following Souths’ tough start to

the season. Their exclusion follows Lachlan Ilias being dropped prior to Friday’s heavy defeat to the Sydney Roosters.

Shaq Mitchell and Michael Chee Kam have been added to the bench for the struggling Souths, while Thomas Burgess

has been elevated to the starting lineup. Havili has been named as the 18th man for the upcoming match.

Warriors icon Roger Tuivasa-Sheck shifts back to fullback in place of the concussed Taine Tuaupiki as the Kiwi team prepares to host Newcastle in a semi-final rematch.

Josh Addo-Carr from Canterbury has been included on an extended bench to face the Rabbitohs, potentially marking

his return from an AC joint injury, which could see Connor Tracey dropping out of the squad.

Jayden Campbell, the fullback for Gold Coast, is set to make his NRL season

debut as the Titans aim to secure their first win against the Dolphins this Saturday. Campbell had been sidelined

with a knee injury, and there’s a possibility of David Fifita, recently recovered, joining the game-day squad as the 18th player.

Luke Keary, the Roosters’ five-eighth, is slated to return from concussion to play against Penrith on Thursday, taking the place of the injured Sandon Smith in the halves.

In the Roosters’ front row, Terrell May fills in for Lindsay Collins, who has a minor hamstring issue.

As anticipated, Brad Schneider, a new addition to the team, will have his club debut in lieu of Penrith’s injured

halfback Nathan Cleary, who is sidelined with a hamstring injury. Additionally, Mavrik Geyer, son of club icon Mark Geyer, is set to play his inaugural NRL match.

Corey Oates will be included on Brisbane’s bench for the intra-state

showdown against North Queensland on Friday. Adam Reynolds is also set to return from a knee injury for this game.
