Sad News :Sunderland star player has pick up a serious injury that will sideline him for months

Rigg, aged 16, is experiencing a breakthrough season with Sunderland in the Championship, showcasing his talent not only domestically but also on the international stage with England.

The midfielder marked his debut in the Championship earlier this season and netted his inaugural league goal for the club. With 13 league appearances and one goal to his credit this season, Rigg has firmly established himself as a promising talent.

Moreover, Rigg has become a regular presence for England’s U17 team, contributing both on the field and on the scoresheet in a recent 5-0 victory over Hungary. He even assumed the role of captain in that match.

Despite his successes, Rigg faced adversity during England’s match against France. After conceding a goal in the 18th minute, England found themselves reduced to 10 men when Rigg received a straight red card just seven minutes later.

The outcome was less than favorable for the young prodigy and his team, as England ultimately succumbed to a 2-1 defeat in the Euro U17 qualification clash

against France. As a result, the Three Lions currently sit in second place in Group 1, trailing behind France.
