preceding years reflected a commitment to building a strong team, evidenced by their aggressive approach in assembling a competitive roster.

The Falcons are aiming to be competitive, and settling for “good enough” is not a viable strategy. Despite this, Jarrett and Onyemata proved to be a formidable duo before Jarrett’s season-ending injury.

Together, they recorded four sacks, seven tackles for loss, and 20 quarterback hits in eight games. If the Falcons can maintain this level of production over a full season, achieving

approximately 8.5 sacks, 14 tackles for loss, and 40 quarterback hits from their interior pass rush would be highly commendable.

However, I still believe that complacency at the edge position is not the correct approach.
