Undertaker reveals where bray Wyatt could have ended his long time record of

Ten years ago, WrestleMania concluded with Brock Lesnar dealing a decisive blow to The Undertaker’s legendary

streak at WrestleMania 30. This defeat marked The Dead Man’s first loss at WrestleMania, bringing his record to 21-

1 on that memorable night in 2014. Despite this setback, he ultimately retired with an impressive 25-2 record at WrestleMania. Throughout his illustrious career, he secured victories against

opponents like Bray Wyatt, Shane McMahon, John Cena, and AJ Styles, while succumbing to defeat against Roman Reigns.

However, while Roman Reigns might have seemed like a better choice over Brock Lesnar, it doesn’t necessarily mean he would have been the optimal option.

On his Six Feet Under with Mark Calaway Patreon page, Undertaker elaborated on why Bray Wyatt would have been the most fitting candidate:

“The most logical person to break it would have been Bray Wyatt. Probably of the three, it would have meant more to his career than even Roman’s. For Roman, it would have been very special.

But for Bray, there were so many comparisons between the two characters, and the darkness, and the different things. For him to be able to

have broken it would have been such a feather in his cap, and in something that would have probably extended the character of the Undertaker, in a

different capacity. I mean, Bray would have been the in-ring aspect of it, but I think that those characters would have somehow maybe merged together in

some kind of higher power type deal. But I think of all the people that it would have helped the most, I think Bray would have been the guy.”

Undertaker’s suggestion implies that if Wyatt had defeated the Undertaker’s

streak, the two characters could have possibly integrated into some sort of higher power dynamic. It raises

questions about the specifics of Undertaker’s vision and how it could have been executed within the confines of the wrestling storyline.

From my perspective, I believe Undertaker’s streak should have

continued for as long as he continued to wrestle, as it had become a crucial draw for WrestleMania events. The risk of

choosing the wrong person to end it was too great. This sentiment is reinforced by the near-perfect retirement of Sting in AEW.

What are your thoughts on Undertaker’s explanation? Do you agree that Bray Wyatt was the most logical choice to end

his undefeated streak at WrestleMania? Let me know your thoughts in the comments below.
