Daniel Farke to Leave international Leeds player out starting Eleven due.

Leeds United manager Daniel Farke should consider starting Sam Byram instead of regular left-back Junior Firpo against Watford. Firpo recently played a

match for the Dominican Republic and returned to Leeds with limited time for recovery. Farke might be hesitant to risk Firpo’s fitness, especially as Leeds aim for automatic promotion back to the

Premier League. Byram has already proven his quality for the team, having been the first-choice starter earlier in the season. Although he has been used

sparingly since his injury on New Year’s Day, Farke may have confidence in Byram’s ability to step up if given the chance.

Firpo has been the primary beneficiary, starting all 11 league matches since replacing Byram against Birmingham at Elland Road. He has contributed all five

of his assists this season during this period, including two as a substitute against Birmingham.

Both players pose a direct threat as Leeds aim to dominate opponents, often

occupying advanced and dangerous positions on the field. The difference in their attacking involvement is minimal,

with Firpo averaging 3.34 touches in the penalty area per 90 minutes in the Championship compared to Byram’s 3.16, according to FBref.

Giving Byram playing time against Watford by resting Firpo appears to be a wise decision for Farke.
