Why Several Alabama stars are invited to dinner by the Steelers.

With the NFL Draft looming less than a month away, the Pittsburgh Steelers find themselves in need of reinforcements at

several positions. Offensive tackle, center, wide receiver, and cornerback are all areas where the Steelers are looking to bolster their roster.

Head coach Mike Tomlin and front office executive Omar Khan recently attended Alabama’s Pro Day, where they had the

opportunity to scout potential prospects, including cornerbacks Terrion Arnold and Kool-Aid McKinstry. Former Steelers cornerback Ike Taylor also attended the

event and mentioned that the Steelers hosted Arnold and McKinstry for dinner the night before the Pro Day.

“We wound up doing dinner,” Taylor shared on the “Bleav In Steelers podcast.

“Terrion, Dallas [Turner], and Kool-Aid and a couple more teammates… and Coach T was just holding court.”

Both Arnold and McKinstry are highly regarded as potential first-round picks. If the Steelers are impressed with what

they see from both players, there is a possibility that one of them could end up donning a Steelers jersey and cap on draft night.

Arnold showcased his skills by intercepting five passes in 2023 and

allowing a passer rating of just 50.7, while McKinstry held opposing quarterbacks to less than 50 percent

completions when targeted and surrendered only one touchdown throughout the season.
