Rams have made amulti-million re-signing of former super Bowl champion Wide receiver

The Los Angeles Rams are giving another shot to a former Super Bowl champion.

According to NFL writer Aaron Wilson’s report on Sunday, the Rams have reached an agreement with free agent

wide receiver Tyler Johnson. This marks a new deal for Johnson, who previously played for the Rams last season.

At 25 years old, Johnson earned a Super Bowl ring with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers during the 2020 season. After

departing from Tampa following the 2021 campaign, Johnson had a stint with the Houston Texans in 2022 before joining the Rams for the 2023 season.

Despite recording only two catches for eight yards and a touchdown last season, Johnson’s role with the Rams appears to

be more of an emergency depth option. Nonetheless, the Rams have identified qualities they appreciate in the former

fifth-round pick, prompting them to retain him. Johnson now joins the list of last year’s receiving corps members who have renewed their ties with the team.
