Buccaneers have sign a top Pass Rusher for $200m

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have bolstered their pass rush by signing experienced outside linebacker Randy Gregory to a one-year contract. Gregory

began the 2023 season with the Denver Broncos and later joined the San Francisco 49ers via trade. Throughout

the season, he played a total of 16 games, accumulating 3.5 sacks, 20 tackles, and 10 quarterback hits.

The departure of Pro Bowler Shaq Barrett in free agency left the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with a gap in their pass rush.

Randy Gregory is expected to fill that void left by Barrett, although the team may also address the position in the upcoming draft, where they hold the 26th overall pick.

Following a successful college career at Nebraska, Randy Gregory entered the 2015 NFL Draft as a projected first-round selection. However, concerns about his

off-field behavior surfaced before draft night, causing him to slip to the second round, where he was selected by the Dallas Cowboys.

During his seven-year tenure with the Cowboys, Gregory’s playing time was limited to 50 games due to multiple

suspensions. He missed the entire 2017 and 2019 seasons and was suspended for the majority of the 2016 season, appearing in only two games.

Gregory’s career statistics include 22.0 sacks, 117 tackles, 69 quarterback hits, and 10 forced fumbles.
