On Thursday, the Baltimore Orioles obtained right-handed reliever Yohan Ramírez from the New York Mets in exchange for cash. Ramírez, aged 28, had 

a challenging start to the season with New York, recording a 0-1 record with an 11.81 ERA in three outings before being designated for assignment on Monday.

Throughout his five-season career, Ramírez has amassed a 4.31 ERA across

105 appearances for various teams including Seattle, Cleveland, Pittsburgh, the Chicago White Sox, and the Mets.

Hailing from the Dominican Republic, Ramírez was initially signed by Houston in 2016 before being acquired by the Mariners via the Rule 5 draft.
