The Pittsburgh Steelers Appear to be the top option to trade for the 49ers’ leading receiver.

Pittsburgh The Pittsburgh Steelers and Brandon Aiyuk, the standout wide receiver for the 49ers, have become closer ever since trade rumors have

erupted again over the weekend. As of right now, Chris Adamski of the

Pittsburgh Tribune Review has it that the Steelers are the favorites to acquire San

Francisco’s best wide receiver through trade. The best odds to be his next team

are 2/1 for Pittsburgh, followed by 6/1 for the New England Patriots and Carolina

Panthers, 7/1) for the Arizona Cardinals, and 9/1) for the Los Angeles Chargers.

Earlier in the offseason, the 49ers’ standout Brandon Aiyuk was apparently being pursued by the Steelers. However,

San Francisco general manager John Lynch swiftly put an end to that

possibility at the NFL League Meetings last month.

However, trade speculations have lately resurfaced, with NFL insider Benjamin Albright implying that a deal was close to completion. As All Steelers was also informed by sources, they “would be surprised if it didn’t happen.” The Steelers would gladly add a legitimate star to partner with George Pickens in the passing game at the right price, but they wouldn’t break the bank for him. Last season, Aiyuk recorded a career-high 1,342 receiving yards and seven touchdown receptions. After four seasons in the NFL, he has 3,931 yards and 25 touchdowns.
