Sad News:NFL ordered Falcons to terminate QB Kirk Cousins’ Contract

As Kirk Cousins settles into Atlanta, the Falcons’ new quarterback is embracing everything the state has to offer.

Recently, Cousins and his wife, Julie, who hails from the Atlanta area, attended one of sports’ most iconic events — The Masters. While at Augusta National, the

experienced quarterback expressed his passion for golf during an interview with Marty Smith.

“We settled into a house about an hour south of my hometown,” Cousins explained. “I’d play golf and walk the

course. I’d tell my wife, ‘This is the best thing I’ll do all summer,’ but I couldn’t justify the hour-long drive there. What I

really want is to be able to stroll the fairway with my boss for the rest of our lives and just spend time together.”

Now, as the new face of the Falcons, Cousins is immersing himself in another Atlanta tradition — the hometown Braves. According to 92.9’s Caleb

Johnson, Kirk Cousins will throw the ceremonial first pitch at the Braves’ Sunday game against the Rangers.

Cousins has expressed his interest in Atlanta sports, particularly the Braves

and Hawks, owing to his time spent in Georgia with his wife’s family, who are still based in the metro area.

It’s encouraging to witness the Falcons’ new quarterback embracing all that the city and state have to offer, while also

receiving a warm welcome from the community. Hopefully, the cheers will translate into victories on Sundays during the football season.

If Cousins can lead the Falcons to success, particularly a Super Bowl

victory, the city will undoubtedly hold him in high regard for years to come.
