So sad:Daniel Farke confirms Leeds deal to Swap Summerville plus cash for a goal Machine

Leeds United is reportedly exploring a potential deal to secure a Bundesliga title-winning striker this summer. However, the move could come with a significant trade-off, as claims suggest that a deal can only be finalized if they agree to part ways with their top winger, Crysencio Summerville, in a dramatic swap.

The Whites are deeply immersed in a fierce battle for promotion back to the Premier League after facing relegation

following three seasons in the top flight. Despite accumulating 90 points already with two games remaining, which would

typically be sufficient to secure promotion, the extraordinary competitiveness of this season’s Championship suggests that Leeds

United’s promotion bid, alongside Leicester and Ipswich, will likely go down to the wire.

Leeds climbed back to second place on Monday night after a tense yet thrilling 4-3 victory over Middlesbrough at the Riverside Stadium, although the final scoreline was closer than desired for the Whites.

If they secure another win on Friday evening, this time against QPR on the road, Daniel Farke’s squad will establish

a four-point lead over Ipswich. Ipswich will have two games in hand and are set to play next on Saturday night against Hull.

With Farke successfully blending a winning formula this season, Leeds is determined to secure a top-two finish

and avoid the uncertainties of the Championship playoffs, which could potentially lead to disappointment for Leeds United.

A key factor in their success this season has been their dynamic and versatile

attacking prowess, with goals distributed among their talented forward options.

While both Dan James and Joel Piroe have reached double figures in goals for the season, Dutch winger Summerville stands out as their standout performer.

Summerville, who recently earned recognition as the EFL Player of the Season, has had a stellar campaign for

Leeds. His exceptional performance in the victory against Middlesbrough showcased his immense talent, as the 22-year-old contributed two goals and an

assist, bringing his total goal contributions for the season to over 30 (20 goals and 10 assists).

Naturally, the outstanding performances of the former Feyenoord youth product at Leeds have sparked significant interest. He arrived at Leeds in a bargain £1.3 million deal from Feyenoord in the summer of 2020.

Interest in Summerville has been evident from clubs such as Tottenham, Newcastle, and Aston Villa, with rumors also linking Liverpool to the winger. Additionally, Chelsea has reportedly sent scouts to observe him on multiple occasions and has included him on their list of potential summer signings, particularly amid speculation of Raheem Sterling’s potential departure.

However, the most notable interest of late has come from Bayer Leverkusen, the reigning Bundesliga champions who remain unbeaten in all competitions this season. With the prospect of Champions League football, a move to Xabi Alonso’s side may be appealing to Summerville, who is contracted to Leeds until the summer of 2026.

Nevertheless, Leeds is determined to retain Summerville and would put up a fight to keep him, especially if promotion

to the Premier League is secured. He is highly valued by the club, with an estimated worth in the range of £30 million to £40 million.

A potential solution to this situation may arise through Leeds’ interest in Bayer

Leverkusen striker Adam Hlozuk. The Czech international, who joined Leverkusen from Sparta Prague in 2022,

has attracted attention from clubs like Arsenal and West Ham in the past. While not a regular starter, Hlozek has still

managed to score seven goals in each of his two seasons at Leverkusen. It is rumored that he could be made available for transfer this summer, with Leeds

among the clubs monitoring his situation, especially if they secure promotion to the Premier League and are in need of a new striker.

According to their report, Leverkusen may be willing to entertain offers as low as €10 million this summer for the 21-year-old, who has amassed 54 career goals. This figure has caught the attention of both Roma and Lazio.

Leeds is expected to reject such an offer, particularly with Summerville still having two years remaining on his current contract.

However, if Leeds fails to secure promotion, they could face challenges in retaining Summerville, especially considering Xabi Alonso’s desire to recruit him for the reigning German champions.
