Sad News: Josh Hart of the Knicks reveals the referee errors that led to the team’s Game 3 loss and also blames..

New York Knicks forward Josh Hart expressed his belief on Friday that the referees overlooked a critical call late in Game 3 of their Eastern Conference semifinal clash against the Indiana Pacers.

In a tight contest that saw the Pacers narrowly prevail 111-106 in the closing moments at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Ind., Andrew Nembhard, despite his subdued performance throughout the game, drained the go-ahead three-pointer to prevent Indiana from facing a daunting 0-3 deficit in the series.

Just before Nembhard’s clutch shot, the Knicks had a prime opportunity to seize the lead with the score deadlocked at 102. With a little over two minutes remaining in the game, the Knicks forced a live-ball turnover, setting up a promising fastbreak. However, Pacers center Myles Turner emphatically blocked Hart’s layup attempt off the backboard.

While the referees deemed Turner’s block to be clean, Hart held a differing opinion.

“I know it was a goaltend. I saw it,” Hart conveyed to reporters post-game. “When I saw it, it was a goaltend. But obviously, they didn’t call it.”

A goaltending decision would have granted the Knicks a two-point advantage as they approached the final minutes of the game. However, the Pacers promptly capitalized on the opposite end, seizing a 104-102 lead.

Hart concluded the matchup with 10 points and a game-leading 18 rebounds, logging 43 minutes of playing time.
