Sad News:Unia Emery key attacking Forward player last season who is on loan has made a shocking return back to ..

Philippe Coutinho may cut short his loan spell at Aston Villa and potentially return to Brazil this summer, bringing his disappointing tenure with the club to an early end. The Brazilian midfielder has spent the season on loan at Al-Duhail in Qatar after initially joining Villa on loan from Barcelona, with former teammate Steven Gerrard as manager.

While Coutinho made a promising start at Villa, making significant contributions in matches against Manchester United,

Southampton, and Leeds United, his impact dwindled as Gerrard’s time at the club took a downturn. Despite scoring a goal on the final day of the season

against Manchester City, Coutinho’s overall influence waned, with his only

other goal for the club coming in a defeat to Arsenal last year.

Unai Emery was open to letting Coutinho leave in the summer, but only a loan move could be arranged for the former Liverpool playmaker, who was once the subject of a £140 million transfer to Barcelona. He subsequently joined Al-Duhail, where he has been a regular

fixture in the team. Coutinho, who Villa signed permanently for £17 million, still has two years remaining on his contract.

Villa may face a financial setback similar to what they experienced with Morgan Sanson, who is set to join Nice

permanently, as they contemplate the possibility of selling Philippe Coutinho. Recent reports suggest that Cruzeiro, an

ambitious club in Brazil, are keen on bringing Coutinho back to his homeland.

It’s rumored that his current market value has plummeted to just €7 million.

Cruzeiro, eager to regain their position at the summit of Brazilian football, have

already made ambitious signings such as former West Brom star Matheus Pereira.

Coutinho, who will turn 32 next month, is expected to return to Villa from his

loan spell this summer, along with another outcast, Leander Dendoncker.
