Unbelievable: jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers have made a shocking decision concerning his NFL Career over …

Aaron Rodgers faced a choice between continuing his football career or joining the presidential race this fall. He opted for the football field.

As the NFL kicked off OTAs this week, the New York Jets quarterback addressed a story from earlier this year: that third-party presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. had considered Rodgers as a potential vice-presidential running mate. Rodgers revealed that he had discussions with Kennedy about the possibility, but ultimately, he couldn’t manage both roles simultaneously.

“I love Bobby,” Rodgers stated in a press conference. “We had a couple of really nice conversations, but there were really two options: retire and be his VP or keep playing. And I want to keep playing.”

Rodgers’ decision ensures that his career as the Jets quarterback will extend beyond the brief four plays last year before an Achilles injury ended his season. The 40-year-old spent 18 seasons with the Packers, winning four MVP awards and a Super Bowl, before being traded to the Jets last year.

In recent years, Rodgers has been vocal about his political views, including strong anti-vaccination stances and various conspiracy theories.
