Former Philadelphia 76ers power forward Drew Gordon died in a car accident on Thursday in Portland, Oregon.

His death was confirmed by his agent, Calvin Andrews, and the Denver Nuggets, where his younger brother Aaron Gordon plays.

Gordon, 33, played college basketball at UCLA and New Mexico. The 6-foot-9, 245-pound player went undrafted in 2012 and started his professional career overseas. In 2014, he played nine games with the 76ers and also spent time with the Delaware 87ers. Most recently, he played in Japan during the 2022 and 2023 seasons.

Gordon is survived by his wife, Angela, and their two young sons, Zane and Brody.
